We have a 2 acre yard surrounded by 3 wooded acres. The wildlife literally comes right up into the back yard. We are just a few hundred yards from Mapleleaf Lake. It is the last house on the road, so there is no crowding up with neighbors.

If you want quiet privacy this is the home for you. The fireplace is so relaxing in the wintertime, and there is a small vinyl pool area in a private spot for the summer. The large patio and spacious second living room is great for having guests over. That's right, I said TWO living rooms.

We have created a huge camping area near the house for the kids to stay out and play. There is even a large stack of firewood cut and seasoned, so it is available for the fireplace and camping area.

We truly love it out here, but the time required to take care of 2 acres and a 2400 square foot home is more than we can do with two boys in sports, band and other after school activities. Between jobs and extra activities we simply cannot keep up with the huge yard! It is really that big! We are in a toss up between getting something smaller or hiring out a yard service.
