Our flyers that your staff helped us put together really looked nice. The ad in the magazine was very professional looking and quickly drew many perspective buyers. We used Kris Anderson to come do an appraisal prior to listing our house and we are glad that we did! Having the knowledge of exactly where our home stood, value wise, allowed us to list it at a price that not only let us to get our equity out, but to sell it at a fair market price and quickly. We hired the attorney Robert Remack to represent us and we are so glad that we did. Bob really took care of us and he was very successful at getting nearly our full asking price from our buyer. We took advantage of his complete seller package and had Bob represent us through the entire deal from initial offer through the closing paperwork. The added security knowing he was in our corner put us at ease and his expertise in handling the perspective buyers proved to be a big help when we were negotiating on the actual selling price with our buyer. Bob had tons of excellent advice and he was right on with his assessment of our perspective buyer to the extent that we were able to settle on an offer that was even higher than what we were hoping for. We also had Service One come out and do there free home inspection of all the appliances. We were covered free of charge through the entire time our home was to be on the market and the service was a good incentive to offer our buyers to continue the Service One contract for an additional year at a reasonable price if interested. All in all, the FSBO experience was a great choice for us and we want to thank all the folks that helped us out through the process. I can’t say enough about how EASY it was to sell our home by our selves. I would do it all again in a heartbeat! We received an offer for our FSBO listed home on 8 August. The buyers were relocating here and found our home through a copy of the your FSBO publication. They had also sold their home by owner as well. The Real Estate Lawyer we obtained through your FSBO program is helping us with the transaction, and we expect to close at the end of September.
In negotiating the sale price of our home with the prospective buyers, we were able to establish the value of the home by referencing the professional appraisal recommended by your FSBO program. Confident in the market value of our home, we were able to move the buyers $10,000 and obtain our full asking price.
This is our first experience with your FSBO program. We are both very proud that we did this ourselves, and especially pleased at the extraordinary value the FSBO program offered. For the less than $1000 total cost we spent selling the home through FSBO, we saved $17,000 in equity which will go toward the downpayment on our new construction home.
I can’t wait for the next phone call from realtors eagerly offering to "help" so I can give them the good news about our experience with FSBO. I now fully understand their anxiety over the continued success of your FSBO program.

A quick note of thanks to you and your wonderful magazine! We closed on the sale of our home today. I attribute much of the success to the visibility we received from advertising in the FSBO Registry Magazine.
We were skeptical at first, but needed to sell fast. Before advertising in your magazine, our house was "on the market" for 4 weeks and had a couple of very lame offers. The weekend your magazine hit the street, we held an open house from 1 pm to 4 pm. We finally finished showing the house at 8:15pm the same night and then answered phone calls nonstop for almost 2 weeks.
