How to Place Your Ad

Decide which For Sale By Owner marketing plan works best for you.

The Enchilada (MAX 24 WEEKS), the Economy or the No Money-Up-Front Fee Plan. (See the ad rates and deadlines button on www.GOTOFSBO.com home page).

Place Your Order... by e-mail or call us to take your information.  We will then fax or e-mail some forms to you.  You will need to sign them and fax back.  Or if you prefer, come on in to our office.

Write a Description...

Choose the size ad you want to place. For homes over $400,000, we recommend a minimum of 1/4 page. E-mail or fax a description of your property.  Approximate Character limitations for 1/8 page = 45 words; 1/4 page = 120 words; 1/2 page or full page = 140-150. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR PRICE AND PHONE NUMBER. If you would like our assistance in writing your description, make some notes about your property and then fax, e-mail, mail it or come on in to our office.

Photograph...

We recommend you advertise with a current photo of your home. We accept 35mm prints, high res (300+ dpi) digital images or the photographer will come to your home to take your photo and deliver your sign for a small fee (a great deal compared to travel time & gas). Please allow enough room around home for cropping - Do Not Provide Close Up Photos or part of home may be cut off.  PLEASE - All photos - whether e-mailed or dropped off to office - MUST BE LABELED with Last Name and Room (Exp: smithlivingroom.jpg) and must be HORIZONTAL.

a) In Person...

b) Mail In Your For Sale By Owner Ad...

Provide Horizontal Picture and Description and mail to:
3 Palomino Court, Spotsylvania, VA  22551. (Allow minimum 7 days mail time; otherwise express mail is recommended.)

c) Fax or E-Mail Your FSBO Ad...

Provide Horizontal Picture and Description above to 866-485-9310 or dk@gotofsbo.com. Tell us to take photo (be sure we have directions) or e-mail photo to us.

Once submitted, we will contact you via email to complete your for ssale by owner ad placement, so please check your email that same day. We will need you to sign & return to us forms that we will supply you via email to be faxed or emailed back to us to complete your order.
