This was the Rosenau/Wilson family home. To our knowledge, home has never suffered a catastrophe such as a fire or flood. Was not remodeled during our tenure/ownership except in 1910 & 1948. Owned by & resided in continuously by father & then daughter (and their families) for 98+ years. Never unoccupied during our tenure until daughter's recent death. Never offered for sale in 98 years. Now offered by estate of owner who was born here & recently died at 95 years of age.

Two additional fireplaces are on the second floor. The main house has very tall ceilings & very large, old windows evidenced by bubbles & runs in glass. Built with the expected wide hardwood moldings & trim. The frame sills and beams are very large broad-ax, hand-hued hardwood and are notched and pegged. Some as large as 12"X12". They are exposed in the basement and in the crawl space.

Narrow board poplar siding is under the existing Alcoa aluminum siding. Cooled only by window air conditioning units. All 4 porches, carport and metal roofs require pressure washing.
