Buyer's Service
Whether you are a First Time Buyer or an experienced Buyer, searching to buy a home should be a pleasant expirience.
Buyers should be aware that looking for a new is time consuming and could be frustrating. There are many factors to consider. Most important the Buyer should realize that there are steps to take in order to avoid setbacks or costly errors.
For your convenience, the following is a list recommended steps to considered:
- Decide how much time you have to move into your new home
This will narrow your search for the type of home available wirthin your schedule
- Talk to a Loan Officer about 30-60 days prior to you search
You must learn the highest price you can afford and make a decission on what
monthly payments you want to budget.
- Learn from all sources available (friends and family included) about the areas of town that meet the criteria for location
It is important to all for us to live in the most desirable area available. Close to
work, school, shopping, medical centers, etc
- A map is always a plus. You may want to purchase one or get one for each property from Google.
Do not drive all over a neighborhood looking for just ONE property. This is where the
frustration begins. Be prepared and know where you are going to save time and gas
money.
- Do as much search as possible through the internet
It is a fact that over 80% of the buyers and sellers of homes are using the Internet.
- Choose no more than 4-5 properties to see on any one day
Changes are that on the first day of search, you may find other neighborhoods you
may like or homes that are new on the market. Be open to change and gicve yourself
some time.
