Making an Offer to purchase your new home
Be prepared to offer the following terms to a seller when you want to make an offer on their home:
- Purchase price
- Your loan status (how much down, what interest rate and how long)...
- Have you applied for a loan, if not, how long do you need?
- Are you paying your closing costs?
- Are you getting an inspection? How long do you need to perform the inspection?
- How many days after the inspection do you need to work out what will be repaired with the owner?
- How much earnest money are you offering the Seller?
- Do you have a house to sell?
- What personal items do you want to remain in the home?
